I’ve built websites for plumbers and trades across Sussex and beyond. Here’s what separates the plumber websites that generate leads from the ones that sit there doing nothing:
Gas Safe registration front and centre. Your Gas Safe number and badge need to be visible within seconds. Homeowners check for this — it’s the single biggest trust signal for any gas-related work. I’ll display it prominently alongside any other accreditations you hold.
Emergency call-out buttons. When someone’s got a burst pipe at midnight, they need to reach you instantly. A prominent emergency call-out button with click-to-call functionality on every page is essential. Not buried in the footer — right at the top.
A clear list of services. Don’t make visitors guess what you do. Boiler installation, heating services, bathroom fitting, drain unblocking, leak detection, radiator replacement, power flushing, gas safety certificates — lay it all out clearly with dedicated service pages.
Service area maps. If you cover Brighton, Worthing, Crawley, and Eastbourne — each area should have its own page. This is how you show up for “plumber near me” searches in each location. I’ll set up Google Maps integration so customers can see exactly where you work.
Before and after galleries. Photos of your actual work build trust faster than any sales copy. A bathroom refit, a boiler swap, a full central heating installation — real photos of real plumbing jobs show potential customers the quality of your work.
Google Reviews integration. Pulling your five-star Google reviews directly onto your plumber website closes the trust gap and reduces bounce rate. When someone sees 50+ positive reviews from real customers, they’re picking up the phone.
Every plumber website I build includes all of these elements as standard. Want to see what this looks like in practice? Check out the examples below.
