Client Overview: Pace Coffee is a start up coffee brand based in Brighton, specialising in premium Ethiopian coffee beans from the famous marathon runner Haile Gebrselassie.

Objective: Pace Coffee approached us with the goal of establishing a captivating online presence that not only showcased their unique coffee but also reflected their brand values of quality, sustainability, and cultural appreciation. The primary objectives were to create a visually appealing website that provided a seamless user experience and incorporated an easy-to-use content management system (CMS) for effortless updates.

Design and Development Process:

1. Wireframing and Prototyping: Using Figma, we created wireframes and prototypes to visualise the website’s structure, layout, and user flow. This process allowed for refining the design elements and ensuring optimal user experience. It also allowed the Pace team to gather the right content for the different sections of the site.
2. Visual Design: Leveraging Pace Coffee’s brand guidelines and aesthetic preferences, we crafted a visually stunning design that captured the essence of the brand. The design elements, including color scheme, typography, and imagery, which worked really well with their minimalistic design choice.
3. WordPress Development: Once the design was finalised and approved by Pace Coffee, we proceeded with the WordPress development phase which took around 2 weeks in total to produce all of the pages.
4. Integration and Functionality: Once the majority of the website was built, we implemented various functionalities to enhance the website’s performance and user engagement. This included seamless navigation, product showcase with detailed descriptions, integrated e-commerce capabilities for online purchases, responsive design for optimal viewing across devices, and social media integration for enhanced brand visibility.
5. Testing and Optimisation: Once we were all happy with the look and functionality of the website, we tested it across all devices to ensure the website functioned flawlessly across different browsers and devices. Performance optimisation techniques were employed to enhance loading speed and overall responsiveness, thereby delivering an optimal user experience.
