Wedding Website Design
Website design for wedding suppliers
Iâm Spencer, a freelance web designer based in Brighton. I build custom websites for wedding businesses across Sussex and the UK — planners, venues, florists, photographers, caterers, and every supplier in between. Sites designed to showcase your portfolio, generate enquiries, and help couples find you during the most important planning stage of their lives.
If your wedding business website looks dated, doesnât show the quality of your work, or makes it hard for couples to get in touch, I can help. No agency fees. No cookie-cutter templates. Just a supplier site that answers the two questions every couple asks before they enquire — are you free, and roughly what do you charge.

Talk it through →Why wedding suppliers need a professional website
Iâm Spencer — a Brighton-based freelance web designer and former British 800m Champion, using 10+ years of marketing experience to help wedding businesses across Sussex and the UK build websites that fill your calendar with bookings. Whether youâre a wedding planner, venue, photographer, caterer, or any other supplier — Iâll build you something that captures the magic of what you do.
Couples donât find suppliers the way they did ten years ago. They start on Instagram, they ask in Facebook groups, they scroll a directory listing — and then, before they enquire, they open your website. That visit is the moment they decide whether youâre worth an email.
The problem is that most wedding supplier websites are built to look beautiful and nothing else. Gorgeous full-bleed photography, a slow gallery, and no obvious way to find out whether youâre free on 14 June or what you actually charge. The couple leaves and messages the supplier whose site answered those two questions.
A wedding supplier site that earns its keep does all of this:
Loads fast on a phone, even with a full gallery on the page
Makes it obvious whether youâre free on their date
Gives a price signal, so the wrong enquiries filter themselves out
Captures the date, venue, guest numbers and budget in one form
Shows real weddings youâve worked on, not stock photography
Reads as beautifully as the work you turn up and deliver
I build websites for the business end of the wedding industry — photographers, florists, venues, celebrants, planners, videographers, cake makers, stationers, hair and makeup artists, entertainers and DJs. Not wedding websites for couples. Websites for the people they hire.
If youâre a couple looking to build your own wedding site with an RSVP page and a gift list, you want one of the free builders like Joy or Bridebook. Thatâs genuinely the right tool for that job, and it isnât what I do.
Why wedding suppliers lose enquiries
Every wedding supplier site I build has to do four things before anything else.
Answer the date question
The single most common reason an enquiry never arrives is that the couple couldnât tell whether you were available. An availability indicator, a clear enquiry form that asks for the date first, or simply a visible â2027 dates now bookingâ line does more for conquest than another gallery.
Give a price signal
You donât have to publish a full price list — most suppliers canât, because every wedding is different. But âpackages from £1,400â filters out the couples who were never going to book you and reassures the ones who were. Suppliers who show nothing get enquiries from people with a £400 budget, and it wastes everyoneâs afternoon.
Make the photography do the selling without breaking the site
Wedding suppliers have the best imagery of any industry I work with and the slowest websites because of it. Full-resolution galleries dumped straight into a page will cost you the mobile visitor whoâs browsing on a train. I handle the compression, sizing and lazy-loading so the work still looks extraordinary and still loads.
Capture the enquiry properly
A brief form that asks the date, venue, guest numbers and budget range means the first reply you send can be useful instead of a list of questions. Fewer emails, faster bookings, and a shortlist of enquiries actually worth your time.
What matters changes with what you sell
The wedding industry isnât one business, and the websites shouldnât be either. What matters changes completely depending on what you sell.
Photographers and videographers
Portfolio weight and page speed are the whole game. Full galleries per wedding, a clear package structure, and a booking route that doesnât require six emails.
Venues
Capacity, layouts, accommodation, exclusive-use terms and a genuine availability calendar. Venue enquiries are high value and slow to convert, so the site has to work as a brochure the couple returns to three times before booking a viewing.
Florists
Wedding work sits completely separately from shop orders — itâs a consultation, not a checkout. I keep the two routes apart so the enquiry form gathers colours, venue and budget rather than dropping a bouquet into a basket. If you also run a shop, see my florist website design page.
Celebrants and planners
Personality carries the sale. These sites live or die on the About page and on making it obvious how the process works, step by step.
Cake makers, stationers, hair and makeup
Visual proof plus a straightforward enquiry route, and a clear statement of the area you cover.
Entertainers and DJs
Audio or video embedded on the page, set lists, and a plain answer on travel and equipment.
Whatever you sell, the build starts the same way — a conversation about how couples find you now, and where the enquiries are quietly falling over on the site you already have.

Wedding web design services I offer
Whether you need a portfolio-focused wedding website, a venue showcase with virtual tours, or a full business platform with enquiry management and package sales, I handle the full process — design, development, SEO setup, and launch. Everything is built on WordPress, so you can update galleries, add testimonials, and manage your content yourself without calling me.
Custom wedding websites
Every wedding website I build features custom layouts designed to showcase your work at its most romantic — full-width gallery pages, styled shoot features, real wedding stories, and dedicated pages for each service or package you offer. I optimise every image for web so your site loads fast without sacrificing visual quality.
Over 70% of couples browse wedding supplier websites on their phone, so every site is fully responsive and tested across iPhone, Android, tablet, and desktop. Built on WordPress with an intuitive editor, you can update galleries, add new wedding features, and manage your content without any technical knowledge.
Enquiry and availability
I build custom enquiry forms that capture the right details — wedding date, venue, guest count, budget range — so you can qualify leads before picking up the phone. Whether you use a CRM like HoneyBook, Dubsado, or prefer a simple contact form with package selection, Iâll integrate it seamlessly.
Click-to-call buttons, WhatsApp links, and enquiry forms on every page mean couples can reach you however they prefer. I can also build availability calendars so couples can check your open dates before enquiring.
SEO for wedding businesses
A stunning portfolio means nothing if couples canât find your site. Every wedding website I build includes local SEO setup targeting âyour service + your townâ searches, Google Business Profile optimisation, proper page titles and meta descriptions, schema markup, and blog setup for real wedding features.
Want to outrank other wedding suppliers in your area? I offer ongoing SEO retainers to build your visibility over time — content creation, link building, Google Business Profile management, and monthly reporting.
Branding and logo design
Launching a new wedding business or refreshing your visual identity? I offer branding and logo design alongside my web design service — logo design, brand identity packages including colours, typography, and brand guidelines, plus business card and social media branding.
Many wedding businesses combine a new website with a full brand identity — itâs the most cost-effective way to launch with a cohesive, elegant look that carries across your website, social media, and printed materials.
Ecommerce for packages and gifts
Want to sell wedding packages, add-ons, or gift registry items online? I build WooCommerce stores on WordPress — package deposits, gift vouchers, styling extras, printed stationery — all with secure payment processing and automated confirmations.
Product pages get proper SEO too, so your packages and products show up in Google search results. Iâll set everything up so you can manage orders and offerings without needing technical knowledge.
Hosting and ongoing support
I offer managed hosting from £10/month — security updates, backups, plugin updates, uptime monitoring. Your site stays secure and online. Already have hosting? I can work with your existing setup. No mandatory monthly fees holding your website hostage.
The difference between working with me and a larger agency is simple: if something breaks, you can message me directly on WhatsApp — not a call centre, not a ticket queue. Iâll fix it.

Get a free quote →Wedding venue website design
Wedding venue website design is its own discipline, and most venue sites get it wrong in the same way: gorgeous photography, no answer to the two questions every couple has.
Is the date free?
An availability indicator, or at minimum an enquiry form that asks for the date first. Venues lose more enquiries to this than to anything else.
What does it actually cost?
Not a full price list — a âfromâ figure and whatâs included. Couples with a £5,000 budget and couples with a £25,000 budget are both wasting your time if the site wonât filter them.
Beyond that, a venue site has to carry capacity by layout, accommodation, exclusive-use terms, supplier lists and a route to book a viewing. Itâs a brochure a couple returns to three or four times before they commit, so it has to hold up on the fourth visit.
I build these on WordPress so your team can update dates, packages and galleries without coming back to me.
Website design for wedding photographers
Website design for wedding photographers is the request I get most, and itâs the clearest example of why supplier sites differ. A photographer needs full galleries per wedding, fast on mobile, with a package structure and a booking route that doesnât take six emails. Image weight is the whole problem and itâs entirely fixable.
The other suppliers I build for:
Wedding videographers
Embedded showreels that donât destroy load time, and a clear films-vs-photography package split.
Wedding florists
Consultation enquiry rather than checkout, with colours, venue and budget captured up front. If you also run a shop, see my florist website design page.
Celebrants
Personality carries the sale, so the About page and a plain description of the process do the work.
Cake makers, stationers, hair and makeup artists
Visual proof, a straightforward enquiry route, and a clear statement of the area you cover.
Wedding DJs, bands and entertainers
Audio or video on the page, set lists, and an honest answer on travel and equipment.
Marquee hire, wedding cars and planners
Availability and coverage area first, gallery second. If you shoot portraits and commercial work alongside weddings, my photographer website design page covers that side of it.

Frequently asked questions
Still unsure about something? Ask me directly — I answer every enquiry personally.
Get a free quoteIs this a wedding website for couples?
No. This is website design for wedding businesses — the suppliers couples hire. If youâre planning your own wedding and want an RSVP and gift-list page, a free builder like Joy or Bridebook will serve you better.
Do I need to publish my prices?
Not in full. But some price signal — âfromâ figures, or package tiers — consistently improves enquiry quality. Iâll talk through whatâs appropriate for your part of the industry.
Can you make my galleries load faster?
Yes, and for most wedding suppliers this is the biggest single win available. Wedding sites are usually slow because of image weight, which is fixable without compromising how the work looks.
Can I add new weddings to the portfolio myself?
Yes. Youâll be able to add galleries, blog a wedding and update packages without needing me.
Do you work with venues as well as individual suppliers?
Yes. Venue sites are a bigger build — capacity details, room layouts, accommodation, availability — but itâs the same process.
I already have a website that isnât bringing in enquiries. Can you look at it?
Yes — I offer a free audit where Iâll tell you whatâs actually stopping enquiries. Often itâs speed, an unclear enquiry route, or no price signal, and sometimes thatâs fixable without a rebuild.
How long does a wedding supplier website take?
Usually four to six weeks, depending on how much imagery and copy is ready to go.
Do you work outside Sussex?
Yes. Most of this work happens over video calls, and I build for wedding suppliers across the UK.
