Every website I build follows the same straightforward process — no jargon, no mystery, no drawn-out timelines.
1. Discovery Call
It starts with a free call. I’ll ask about your practice, your patient base, what’s working and what isn’t, and what you need your website to do. By the end, you’ll have a clear idea of scope, timeline, and cost. I also offer a free mockup so you can see the direction before committing.
2. Design
I create a custom design mockup so you can see exactly what your site will look like before I build it. No generic templates — everything is designed around your practice’s brand, your clinical services, and the pet owners you serve. If you need branding or logo design as part of the project, I handle that first.
3. Build and SEO Setup
Once the design is approved, I build your site on WordPress — custom-coded, mobile responsive, and fast. Every page gets SEO setup from day one: page titles, meta descriptions, local keyword targeting, and Google Business Profile optimisation. Your booking system, service pages, and team profiles are all integrated at this stage.
4. Launch and Training
Before going live, I test everything across iPhone, Android, tablet, and desktop. On launch day, your team gets a training session so they can update opening hours, add new staff, and publish pet health blog posts without needing to call me. I include 30 days of post-launch support as standard, and ongoing hosting and maintenance is available from £10/month.
The whole process typically takes 4-6 weeks for most veterinary websites, as they tend to have more pages than a typical business site — individual service pages, team profiles, emergency information, and pet health content.
