The Electrical Company (Brighton)
A new website for a Brighton electrical contractor that does far more than rewires: MCS-certified solar and battery storage, Loxone smart homes, heat recovery systems and EICR testing.
TEC are NICEIC approved, RECC accredited, MCS certified, an official Loxone partner and OZEV authorised. They needed a site that put all of that in front of homeowners in Brighton, Hove and across Sussex, and made every specialism easy to find.

TEC’s work ranges from a full solar and battery installation to a same-week EICR for a landlord. The site had to serve both customers without feeling cluttered.
It also had to prove TEC are the real thing. People buying solar or a smart home do their homework, so the accreditations, the team and real finished projects needed to be front and centre, not buried on an about page.

A WordPress site that gives every specialism room to sell
Rather than one long services list, each part of TEC’s business has its own page, its own photography and its own route to a free quote.
A page for each specialism
Solar PV and battery storage, Loxone smart homes, EICR testing, renovations and complete rewires, and heat recovery systems each have a dedicated page. Each one carries the detail buyers look for, from system design and battery options to monitoring, aftercare and FAQs.
Accreditations front and centre
NICEIC, RECC, MCS, Loxone and OZEV are each explained in plain English on the about page, and the MCS and NICEIC marks sit in the footer of every page. For solar customers MCS matters twice over: it’s what unlocks the Smart Export Guarantee.
Local, and it shows
The homepage opens outside the Royal Pavilion with a TEC van in frame, the team photo is the real team, and the portfolio shows finished jobs from Peacehaven, Worthing, Lewes Crescent, Hove and Lindfield. The copy is written for Sussex homes, from period properties in The Lanes to new builds in Shoreham.
TEC now has a website that looks as accredited as the team behind it, with every service given the space to rank and convert on its own.

A website that looks as accredited as the team
A clear home for every specialism, the credentials that solar and smart-home buyers check for, and a free-quote route on every page.
If you run an electrical or renewables business and your website undersells what you do, this is the approach I’d take with yours. Read more about electrician website design and renewable energy website design, or see another electrical build in the SMC Electrical case study.
