Silver Bullet Express

A same-day courier and transport company that came to me with a website that had gone down. I had them back online the same day — then rebuilt the whole thing on WordPress, designed in Figma and turned around in ten days.

For a courier, the website is the dispatch desk’s shop window. It had to load fast, work on a phone in a cab, and make requesting a quote effortless — so no job goes to a competitor because the site was down or awkward to use.

The brief

Get them back online today — then build something better

Silver Bullet Express got in touch because their website had gone down. For a same-day courier, an offline site means missed quotes and missed jobs, so the first priority was simple: get it working again, fast.

I had them back online the same day. With the immediate fire out, they asked me to take on the bigger job — a proper rebuild that looked the part, worked on mobile and made requesting a delivery effortless. And, since they’d been let down by their previous setup, to take on the hosting so it stayed that way.

The build

From an emergency fix to a ten-day rebuild

Three stages, run tight so a business that trades on speed wasn’t kept waiting: recover it, design it properly, then build and host it.

Same-day recovery

The existing site was down when they called. I diagnosed it and got them back online the same day, so enquiries kept coming in while we planned the rebuild rather than losing work to competitors.

Designed in Figma

Every page was designed in Figma first, with revisions worked through and signed off before a line of the site was built. That meant no surprises at launch and a look that matched the pace and reliability the brand sells on.

Built and hosted on WordPress

The sign-off design was built out on WordPress — fully responsive, quick to load, and easy for the team to update. I took on the managed hosting too, so there’s one person accountable for it staying online.

The whole rebuild — design, revisions, build and launch — was turned around in ten days. A quick one, without cutting a corner that mattered.

What’s on it

Built for a business that moves

The details that make a courier website actually convert — not just look tidy.

Homepage video

The homepage leads with video — the fleet and the service in motion the moment the page loads. For a transport company, showing the operation beats describing it, and it sets the tone before anyone reads a word.

Sticky call & quote buttons

Sticky buttons follow you as you scroll, so requesting a quote or calling the dispatch desk is always one tap away — however far down the page someone is, and whether they’re at a desk or on a phone in a cab.

Contact & quote forms

Clean, low-friction contact and quotation forms that land straight in the inbox. Getting a delivery priced should take seconds, not a phone call — so the site captures the job even when the office is on the road.

Fully responsive

Built to work perfectly on every screen — phone, tablet and desktop. A lot of courier enquiries come from mobile, so the layout, forms and sticky buttons are all designed mobile-first and tested across devices.
