Replacing an outdated site with something that actually showcases the work
Broadwater Roofing is a roofing company based in Broadwater, near Worthing. Like a lot of trade businesses, they’d ended up with a website that had fallen behind — outdated design, not doing the work justice, and not helping them get found by people searching locally.
Liam got in touch looking for a fresh start. The old site wasn’t fit for purpose anymore, and he knew it was costing them opportunities.
The brief
The priorities were straightforward:
Modern design. The existing site looked dated. The new one needed to feel professional and current — something that reflected the quality of work Broadwater Roofing actually delivers.
Portfolio showcase. Roofing is visual work. Before-and-after shots, completed projects, the range of services they offer — all of that needed proper space to shine. The old site wasn’t showing it off.
Local visibility. Broadwater and the surrounding areas are their patch. When someone nearby needs a roofer, Broadwater Roofing should be showing up.
The build
I designed and built a new site from scratch on WordPress. Clean, modern, and structured to highlight their work properly.
Portfolio
The portfolio section gives each project room to breathe. Roofing transformations are satisfying to look at — a tired, damaged roof brought back to life — and the site now showcases that work the way it deserves.
Local SEO
I built the site with local search in mind. Proper structure, relevant content, fast loading. The foundations that help a local business show up when people in the area are searching for roofing services.
The result
Liam’s now got a website that matches the quality of the work. It looks professional, shows off their portfolio properly, and is set up to reach the local community in Broadwater and surrounding areas.
